Our clients are a prestigious public school set within beautiful Hertfordshire countryside. They have a new opportunity for a Duty Catering Manager
Working 40 weeks (34 weeks of term plus 6 weeks), 40 hours per week
Monday – Friday 12noon – 8.30pm.
There will be additional weekend working required for events
£25,000.00 - £27,500.00 per annum (Depending on Experience)
We are seeking a Duty Catering Manager, to start ASAP, reporting to the Deputy Catering Manager you will be responsible for the day to day catering functions as well as management duties.
CATERING EXPERINCE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THIS POST
This position will suit a Keen, Enthusiastic, Smart and Extremely Motivated Manager with a keen eye for detail.
A first time manager appointment would be considered for the right candidate, although experience within the catering industry is a must.
A keen eye for detail in service delivery, food safety and health and safety is essential, along with the inter-personal skills to liaise with catering managers, external clients, school staff and pupils. Strong office skills will be necessary, including a strong understanding of IT and a confident telephone manner.
