Our clients based in Hoddesdon have a new opportunity for a Leather Sewing Machinist.

Ideal requirements for this Sewing Machinist role are as follows:

1. Using the leather stitching machine:  Durkopp Adler
2. Need to possess the ability to stitch leather belts.
3. Must be able to stitch fine leather products such as logo badges onto lining.
4. Need to be able to stitch leather handle chapes.
5. Needs to be able to stitch a variety of fabrics for drop in linings.
6. Need to possess good knowledge of construction techniques.

The role would be a full-time position working 37.75 hours Monday to Friday, (7.30-16.15 Mon to Thurs, 7.30 to 13:30 Fri).

Must have experience in industrial sewing machining (preferable leather). Pay is from £12.25 per hour.
