Britain’s leading independent book distributor since 1984 is looking for Warehouse Pickers to join their team based in Hertford with opportunities to get a permanent position after 12 weeks. 

You will be working in the warehouse which has been based in Hertford since 2018. Working closely alongside the Customer Services department and Sales and Marketing teams, the 37,500 square feet warehouse is capable of dealing with a wide range of requests as required from the UK’s demanding retail environment and publishers, from pick pack and dispatch, supplier delivery compliance, print-on-demand, through to review copy mailings and web fulfilment.

This Picker role is a temporary position with opportunities to get a permanent position after 12 weeks. The work is Monday to Friday 0800 – 1600. 

As a Warehouse Picker you will:

• Manually pick book orders from a list.
• Move heavy items of stock.

No previous experience is necessary for this Warehouse Picker role as training will be given however the follow skills will be beneficial:

• Ability to read and understand pick list.
• Good attention to detail.
• Over time paid at time and a half if available.
